Full job description

We are seeking motivated individuals with a passion for sales and customer service to join our team as Insurance Sales Agents. This role focuses on working with clients, generating new business, and building long-term relationships. No insurance license is required to apply, but candidates must be willing to obtain licensing before their start date. Positions may be in-person or remote, depending on placement.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to understand their insurance needs and explain coverage options clearly

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities through outreach, networking, and referrals

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and referral partners to encourage repeat and referral business

  • Prepare and present insurance solutions across multiple product lines, including auto, home, life, and health

  • Conduct follow-ups with prospects and current clients to move conversations forward and close sales

  • Keep client files organized and up to date while complying with agency and regulatory requirements

  • Work toward personal sales targets and contribute to overall team goals

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Sales experience in insurance, outside sales, retail, or telemarketing preferred

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently

  • Ability to manage time effectively and stay focused on long-term goals

  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to ethical sales practices

  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus

  • Familiarity with marketing or lead generation strategies is beneficial

 

Licensing Requirements

  • Must be willing to obtain Property and Casualty and Life and Health insurance licenses prior to start date

  • Licensing costs are the responsibility of the candidate, with training support provided

 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base pay: $19-$25 per hour (depending on experience) + commission and bonuses

  • Paid time off, retirement plan, and health insurance
